My First Lace Scarf Knit Pattern
Full color pattern to knit a 7½" wide x 62" long scarf with a Feather and Fan Lace Pattern in knitting worsted weight yarn.
Yarn: Knitting worsted weight. Samples are knit in Lorna's Laces Shepherd Worsted, color Blackberry, and Caron Simply Soft, color Victorian Rose.
Needles: US 9 (5.5mm), or size to obtain gauge.
Gauge: detail pictured center left
18 sts = 3” and 20 rows = 4” in pattern stitch.
Skill Building: This lace looks complex but is very easy to knit, so it is a great first lace stitch to try. Stitches used are k2tog and yo.
