My First Lace Blanket Knit Pattern
Full color pattern to knit a 32" wide x 40" long baby blanket or adult throw with a Feather and Fan Lace Pattern.
Instructions for knitting a larger blanket are included ~~ don't forget to buy extra yarn!
Yarn: 14 colors pictured below left
Heirloom Cotton 8 (7 50g 120m balls), a soft DK weight cotton that can be machine washed and dried.
Needles: US 7 29" long (or longer) circular needle, or size to obtain gauge.
Gauge: swatch pictured center left
18 sts = 3” and 6 rows = 1” in pattern stitch.
Skill Building: This lace looks complex but is very easy to knit, so it is a great first lace stitch to try. Stitches used are k2tog and yo.
