Evelyn's Easy Chunky HATS HATS HATS! Knit Pattern
Full color pattern to knit 5 different styles of seamless hats in bulky yarn with 4 double pointed needles (US 10.5, 13, or 15, or size to obtain gauge). In most cases, only a single ball of yarn (<85 yds) is required.
Stockinette Hat: Loose fitting hat with rolled brim for sizes Adult, Child, and Baby. Knit with a super bulky yarn and US 15 needles. Samples knit with Sirdar Ultra Mega Chunky and Plymouth Yukon Print.
Chemo Cap: A tighter fitting variation of the Stockinette Hat knit with a super soft bulky nylon yarn and US 13 needles. Yellow sample knit with Lucci Soft Eyelash Crθme/Yellow.
Pom-Pom Hat: A variation of the Stockinette Hat with a ribbing at the bottom and an optional pom-pom on top. Green/blue variegated sample knit with Patons Melody Electric Brites #9329.
Ribbed Hat: A snug fitting hat for adults knit with a super bulky yarn and US 13 needles. Multi-color sample knit with Lucci Candy Twist color #8.
Garter Stitch Hat: A loose fitting hat knit in two colors in simple garter stitch on US 10.5 needles. Sample knit with Patons Shetland Chunky Blue Jeans Variegated and Medium Blue.
Skill Building: This is a great project to learn to knit in the round with 4 double-pointed needles.
