Evelyn's Easy Triangle Basketweave Shawl Knit Pattern
Full color pattern to knit a beautiful triangular shawl in a simple basketweave stitch pattern.
The textured look and stepped triangle shape are achieved in a very simple manner using just knit, purl, and cast-on. Start at the bottom point of the triangle and knit upwards until your shawl is the desired size, or until you run out of yarn.
Easy to knit and elegant to wear...
Yarn: Choose either super bulky yarn such as Misti Alpaca 100% Baby Alpaca (pictured top left), or a worsted weight yarn such as Lorna's Laces Shepherd's Worsted (pictured center and bottom left).
Needles: US 13 (9 mm) for super bulky yarn; US 9 (5.5mm) for worsted weight yarn, or size to obtain gauge.
Skill Building: Learn to cast on at the beginning of a row. Stitches used are knit and purl.
