seniors and donates them to various local, national, and international organizations.
JCK meets monthly to collect donations, plan charity events, share project ideas, and learn new skills.

JCK Donates to These Organizations

Knots of Love  JCK donates handmade knit and crochet chemo caps for distribution to men and women in hospitals nationwide.

Christ Child Society  JCK donates handmade knit and crochet baby items to new mothers in local hospitals.

LAC+USC Medical Center NICU  JCK donates handmade knit and crochet blankets, sweaters, hats, and booties to preemies and babies. JCK member Kimberly Smith has worked there as a NICU nurse since 1992.

Huntington Hospital NICU  JCK donates handmade knit and crochet baby items.

Olive View-UCLA Medical Center NICU  JCK donates handmade knit and crochet baby items.

Operation Gratitude  JCK donates handmade knit and crochet hats and scarves that are included in care packages delivered to our troops overseas.

Afghans for Afghanistan  JCK donates handmade knit and crochet blankets and garments to this humanitarian and educational people-to-people project that serves the beleaguered people of Afghanistan.

Monetary donations were made in 2011 to:
Pasadena Museum of History and Crescenta Valley United Methodist Church
