Do you wish to knit toys for those special young or young-at-heart loved ones in your life? This fun workshop will introduce you to the wonderful world of knit and crochet toys.
Choose either an adorable Dog Hand Puppet, a colorful Clownfish or a Shark, or crochet a huggable Sea Turtle from a kit that includes special hand-dyed yarn designed by Judy Head.
This is a great way to expand your knitting or crochet skills by learning new techniques on a small project.

Supplies: Dog Hand Puppet Kit, Clownfish Kit, or Sea Turtle Kit by Judy Head, $19.95. Available at Needle in a Haystack. Also, knitting needles or crochet hook (as specified in the kit), size 16 tapestry or yarn needle, polyester fiberfill for stuffing.

Coming to you soon (but not as soon as I would like!) is a crochet Dog Hand Puppet pattern. I will make a Special-Edition kit available upon request. The pattern is crochet and Advanced-Beginner level. Let me know if anyone is interested. Judy

Judy's new Teddy Bear Pattern is now available at Needle in a Haystack. Check it out!
You can use any yarn. The 3 small bears in the front row are knit with leftover sock yarn. The 3 mid-sized bears are knit with worsted weight yarn. The large white bear with the pink eyebrows is knit with a bulky yarn.
I've already knit one bear and started a second one.
What a great way to use up leftover yarn!
